It is strongly recommend that you do not take your phone too close to the gas cooker let alone making calls and too close to the gas cooker. Most people find their self victim of this. The reason you are advised not to make call around gas cooker is this, phone gives out radiation, and the radiation get stronger when you are making a call which can ignite the whole gas cooker causing an explosion.

B. Eviting

Most people have the habit of not making sure the gas lock is very tightened, which can make the gas stove give off gas to the air in your room.

Note when ever you smell a petroleum or better still gas smell in your room make sure you do not try and put on the gas and open the doors and windows of your apartment, also go to your gas and make sure it is properly lock and be sure its is not leakage but if it is take it to an expert immediately to prevent you from burning down your house.

C. Never Allow Your Gas Cooker Placed In Hot Temperature
This is another very dangerous mistake we make, placing our gas cylinder in a high temperature can also make it to explode, so beware and never leave your gas in the sun for too long.

D. Stop Shaking Your Gas Cylinder To Check What's Remaining Amount Gas.
People have the habit of shaking their gas when on to know the extent of the usage, well this process is very not advisable even when if is off.

E. Stop Turning On Your Gas Before Striking Your Match stick.
