There are alot of benefits of eating meals seated in this posture. They include

1.This posture allows the mind to calm down and apply the pressure to the lower spine.

2.Helps to improve digestion: It facilitates blood flow toward the abdomen region of our body which eases the digestive process.

3. Our breathing slows down, muscular tension releases, and blood pressure also subsides

4. Makes you more flexible: Regular stretching of the essential muscles also helps make us more flexible and healthy

5. Makes heart stronger: When we sit on the flow, heart gets the benefit of easy circulation of blood

6. Prevents Disease: Constant bending of the knees, ankles and hip joint keeps them more flexible and free of diseases

7. Aids in weight loss: Sitting down will help in reducing the stomach space by nearly half

8. Its humbling: Sitting on the floor can give you a brand new humble and grateful perspective on others
