Simisola Ogunleye, popularly known as "Simi" is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress. She is the last amongst the four children, and was born in the town Ojuelegba which is a suburb of Surulere, Lagos state. Though her parents got separated when Simisola was barely nine years old.

Simi is married to the 33-year-old Nigerian highlife singer, songwriter and graphic designer Adekunle Kosoko, who is known professionally as Adekunle Gold.

Kosoko is signed to the popular record deal label YBNL Nation, where he released his debut studio album Gold, which debuted at number 7 on the Billboard World Albums chart. He is very famous for his hit singles "Sade", "Orente" and "Pick Up".

The lovely couple recently welcomed their first child, and they took to their social media platforms to share the good news of the arrival of their baby girl "Adejare" with everyone.

The name "Adejare" originates from the Nigerian Yoruba dialect, and means "The crown is justified", or "The crown has overcome".

The lovely name implies the Sovereignty of Royalty, making it very suitable for Simi and Adekunle Gold's new born princess.
