School Resumption: Primary And Secondary School Teacher Should Take Note Of This by Gbenga18(m): Wed 03, June, 2020 05:32pm
It's quite known that few months ago, the Federal government had officially ordered for the closure of Primary, Secondary and tertiary institutions in a bid to stop the spread of covid-19 disease.

Honestly, teachers are the key point of determining if schools should resume because they are the ones to enlighten students about the deadly virus, how it can be contacted and the preventive measures to be taken in avoiding the disease.

Looking at this, all teachers should take note of the following:

1. If schools eventually reopens as the federal government is planning to, teachers are urged to control students by making it mandatory for them to be abiding by the preventive measures provided by the Nigeria center for disease control.

2. They should help students in maintaining social distance:

Lack of social distance is another way the virus can be transmitted to another person, so it is advised that they help students in sitting arrangements so that their lives won't be in danger.

3. They should endeavor to report any suspected cases in their schools to the Nigeria center for disease control so that it won't affect others.

Opinion:

Should teachers and lecturers be the one reporting the above stated or should the federal government recruit agencies that will handle such in tertiary, secondary, primary and nursery school.

Remember to maintain social distance, washing your hands regularly with sanitizer and wearing of nose masks.
