A boy identified as Chima has been arrested in Lagos State for allegedly burning his sister to death at CAC Bus Stop in Okokomaiko, Ojo, on the 14th of May 2020. The deceased known as Victoria was two month pregnant before the incident occured. Trouble was said to arise due to her mother scolding her for hanging out with men outside their residence. She wasn't happy with the reaction of her mother and while issue arises she slapped her mum. Chima picked up a keg in the kitchen not knowing it was filed with Premium motor spirit (PMS) to hit her which poured her and flamed up in the kitchen. Her mother also tried quenching the fire and also sustained injuries with severe burns. Neighbors noticed the cry and smoke from the kitchen and helped to put off the fire. Chima attempted fleeing away but he was caught by youths in the community and was later handed over to the police. The police spoke man known as Bala Elkana who confined the incident added that the suspect has been transferred to (SCIID) State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department and further actions will be carried out.
