Anklets(or leg chains) is a bracelet worn around the ankle.

We can go back to ancient Egypt to locate the first anklets. Every single social class wore them absolutely as a female adornment. Dancers would in general string bells together, and the sound they made was working together with their movements.

In the first Century BC, these pieces got well known in India. It was known as Payal, which may or may not be on the grounds that the pattern started in the city of Payal, India, where the word in Hindi and Punjabi signifies "anklet." As the legend goes, ladies wore anklets when they demonstrated bravery in their tribes against their rivals, and they were ordinarily made of heavy metal materials, similar to silver. Some wore little bells on their lower legs. The sound was exceptionally pleasing to the opposite sex and meant that a female was near so the men expected to behave.

As the centuries advanced, so did the importance behind wearing an anklet. One could gather that there was something in particular about wearing these anklets for ladies that meant they were not reserved. In Western culture, exposing ones lower legs and wearing adornments on them has made various questionable conclusions, from falsely implying infidelity to expressing a lady's sexual preferences.

Nowadays, wearing anklets for ladies has changed significantly. Anything goes, up to one adheres to a couple of fashion rules. For example, never wear an anklet with pantyhose. It deafeats the general purpose! An anklet ought to be worn on exposed legs.

Unlike in ancient times, bells or chimes don't add anything to the anklet nowadays, except if you are attempting to call out attention to yourself. Keep it simple and wear the anklet as an adornment, rather than to a calling card. This expecially holds true on the off chance that you decide to wear one in the work environment.

Wear an anklet on whichever lower leg you pick. Nowadays, anything goes. Also, after everything is said and done, it's a great way to express your own sense of fashion.
