Today you are going to learn how to actually track your phone if it ever gets stolen or lost in the future using an IMEI number. Every phone comes with this number and helps with identifying phones. Below are the steps you can follow - On your phone, dial *#06# then a 15 digit number will appear or open your phone at the back and next to the battery or under the battery you will find a 15 digit number. Take that number and write it somewhere safe as you’ll need it when you loose your phone - If you’re phone gets stolen or lost, take the 15 digit number send it to this email address cop@vsnl.net . Make sure you state your full name, address, phone number, name of the phone, last number you used , date stolen and don’t forget the IMEI. - Your phone will be traced in 24 hrs and they’ll send you the exact location where the phone is being operated and the number the phone is currently using. When you have this information you can then contact the police with all this information to recover your phone. 1 Like |
