Africa is the home of every black man. We had our Kings, we had our Queen's. We had our very own way of life. And it suited us just fine.

The white man came, put us in chains, carried us off to some distant lands. We worked like mules, on their cotton fields, we were never paid, they say we were slave.

We worked in the heat; we worked in cold, we worked in the snow, sleet and min. Sickness and death were our only Gain. With rags on our back and hoes in our hands.

They took our diamond and our gold. They took our iron our ore. Today it is our Gas and our oil. Tomorrow it may be the slave trade again.


The English call us Anglophone. The French say no, we are Francophone. To the Americans, we are black monkeys without policy or plans, but our generation will prove them wrong.

They are given the liberty to come and go as they please. Whole we are barred from their shores. This is our land, let us take a stand. We must work hard to improve what we have. We don't need imported goods. When we have the resources to be just as good.


Let us try out best, we must not fail this test. For we have no friend in the West, we are no more slaves. We are strong, free and brave, and we are determined to make this continent great.
