Nigeria, people are now getting married at young ages, they do not wait to mature and know more about marriage, majority of people don’t support this kind of marriage because they think it won’t last. Abraham Samuel Onuoha, A 15-Year-Old Boy wedded Anurika John,a 22-Year-Old girl in Amaiyi Igbere In Bende L.G.A of Abia State.

They got married on Sunday, 26th April. The boy is the only son of Late Mr. Abraham Onuoha of Ndi-Ekpere In Amaiyi Igbere, and the girl is from Akeze In Ebonyi State.

Mrs. Peace Abraham, the mother to the boy said he was born in 2005 after Waiting so long without any issue. According to reports, villagers revealed that they were amazed that Sunday morning after the pastor of Assemblies Of God Church Amaiyi Igbere made the announcement about the wedding.

They wonder why the marriage want to take place, because the girl is older than him and the boy is still small and not matured for marriage.

According to an interview with the mother of the boy, she said that she initially didn’t agree for her son to marry at that time but because her late husband left lots of properties and wealth for him and that she was getting older and sick. She said that she might leave Samuel soon and she needs a girl that can help him manage his money.

Rev. Okoro Ogbu, the pastor of Assemblies of God Church Amaiyi Igbere addressed the congregations not to be amazed by the wedding that Samuel was the only person that can rebuild the family as they have experienced many things in the past.

The wedding attracted friends, relations, lots of people in the community and ministers of other branches to the church.
