Popular social media influencer May Edochie has finally shared the story of how she met her estranged husband, Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, offering fans a rare glimpse into their early years before fame and marriage. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

Speaking during a recent lifestyle podcast, May revealed that their first encounter took place at a General Certificate Examination (GCE) centre while she was still in her university days.

She explained that she had just moved from Lagos to begin her studies at Enugu State University, while Yul was a student at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) at the time.

Recalling those early days, May described herself as a quiet and academically focused young woman who wasn’t interested in social gatherings.

In her words: “Way back in school, when I went to the East for my university, I was a bookworm. It’s always been about books for me. We didn’t meet at a party or any glamorous setting — we met at a GCE centre.”

Her revelation has since sparked conversations online, with many fans commending her for her grace and openness amid her public marital challenges.
