Today, 28th June is the Birthday of Babatunde Raji Fashola, former Governor of Lagos State. Fondly called Fashola by Nigerians, Fashola is purely homegrown, as he went to school and lived all his Life in Nigeria.
These are 8 things you should know about Fashola. 1. Fashola was born on 28th June, 1963 (57 years old) to the Fashola family in Surulere, Lagos State. 2. Fashola is the 13th governor of Lagos state. Preceeded by Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Succeeded by Akinwunmi Ambode. 3. He is married to Abimbola Fashola and they have 2 children. 4. Fashola became governor of Lagos State on May 29, 2017 at the age of 44. 5. Fashola studied Law at the University of Benin and graduated in 1987. 6. Fashola is the current Minister of Works and Housing under the government of President Muhammadu Buhari. 7. He was called to the Nigerian Bar as a solicitor and advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in November 1988 after completing the professional training programme at the Nigerian Law School 8.
