Peaking out of our window or using a running water or even touching a concrete walls, and there are so many ordinary things that we can do at home during extreme weather, and we don’t even think that they could be very dangerous to us. Here are some tips that can guide you during the Strom.

1. Avoid using running water.
Taking a shower or a bath, washing the dishes or using a running water for any purpose can be too dangerous, it’s because the water pipe is made out of metal (usually steel or copper) which we know that it conducts electricity.

2. Avoid Touching Any Concrete Walls Or Ground.
It’s better to avoid touching or leaning on a concrete walls or even lying on a concrete floors, because metal bars in the walls and floors combine with concrete can conduct electricity and put you in danger or even injure you.

3. Do not light up candles when raining.
The problem with candles is that they can easily set fire during a severe thunderstorm and it might not be possible to call out for emergency services.

4. Don’t turn on generator inside the house.
A portable generator is able to keep your electronic like refrigerator or air conditioner running but it better to not use it during the Strom, the reason is that the machine emits carbon monoxide that can poison people and headaches, dizziness, weakness and vomiting.

5. Avoid standing near the window.
While itay seem interesting or even romantic to watch lighting from your window, it’s still unsafe. If the strom is to severe the wind can blow object and they can fly and break the window.

6. Avoid opening your window.
Opening your window when raining can cause severe damage to your home.

7. Don’t keep your laptop charging or any other electronic plugged into a socket.
An electric current can overload to the power cord and not only destroying the device but can also hurt you, and even critical injury.

8. Avoid touching metal or electrical object.
Avoid touching metal during strom, some of the object in your home can conduct electricity and are dangerous to touch.

9. If the rain caught you outside hilltop and open area.
If it happens to be you are outside and can’t find a shelter then take this immediate action is crucial, first do not hold up to any metal object, like umbrella or bicycle since they are altract to lighting strike, secondly do not stay on the hilltop or an open area lighting seek the highest grand. So find a pit or any low place in the ground to hide.

10. Avoid watching TV and radio.
It can cause damage to the TV and radio.
