As the saying goes, the best camera is the one you are in possession of. A young Indian photographer got a lot of people impressed with his stunning macro photos of insects, and all the photographs he took was done with his smartphone.

Sasi Kumar who is a 20 years of age is domicile in Vellore, India. Whenever he is free, he do go to an open field of green pastures and take a photograph of the hidden world of bugs that most people just travel past on daily basis.

The photo below shows the young photographer at work, doing what he knows how to do best.

He do get assistance from his friends at times, so that he could get a better shot. This young and talented photographer make use of two smartphones for his photography: a OnePlus 6t which has 16MP+20MP dual rear camera and a Redmi Note 3 which as a 16MP single rear camera.

He make use of different types of lenses so that he could capture macro insects, these lenses makes the magnification of the insect much closer.

According to him, whenever he comes across a subject he finds interesting, he clips his lens to his phone, then pans his camera slowly towards them. He doesn't go there in a hurry, because this insects are so sensitive and they would take off. So imagine the kind of patience this guy had when taking these macro photographs, He prefers taking photographs of tiny insects and flowers.

Insects as we all know ain't like humans, so it would be difficult for them to stay at a particular spot for a long period of time, I'm pretty sure he would have missed out of some photographs as a result of heavy wind, noise and lack of stability too.

A photo of an ant carrying a dead spider which is presumably seven times it’s own weight. I guess you must have learnt something from this and you could see how beautiful God has made these tiny creatures. Try take your time and observes these insects when you see them in your home, I'm sure you would learn something from their way of living, most especially ants.
