Toyin Salau was a 19 Year Old Nigerian activist who resided in Florida until her untimely death. Earlier this month, on the 6th day of June precisely, a young Nigerian lady with the Twitter handle, @virgingrltoyin took to Twitter to call her out the man who raped her. She made this tweet amidst the whole rape cases making the rounds then. Toyin who went on to give a detailed description in her tweets, also gave details of the man's address. Many didn't believe her as she prayed and pleaded for help. She was an activist who went for every protest to support the black race and fight against the injustice meted out on them. Toyin narrated her incident with the rapist in a thread.

She went missing days after calling out her rapist and found dead yesterday. This news broke the heart of many as they took to Twitter to express their feelings. This young Nigerian lady deserves Justice, she spoke up but got no response instead she was killed. How do we expect rape victims to speak up after the occurrence of an event like this? She couldn't live to get the Justice she sought. It's heartbreaking to see that such injustice still exists amongst humans.

Many Twitter users have taken to their accounts to cry out and seek justice for the young lady. She was described by many as an angel who didn't deserve the inhumane act meted out on her.
