Olamide Adedeji popularly known as Olamide is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist. He records mostly in Yoruba, his native tongue. In 2011, he released his debut studio album Rapsodi while signed to Coded Tunes. YBNL, his follow-up album, was released under his label imprint YBNL Nation. The album was supported by the singles "First of All", "Voice of the Street", "Stupid Love", and "Ilefo Illuminati". On 7 November 2013, he released his third studio album Baddest Guy Ever Liveth. The album's singles include " Durosoke " and "Yemi My Lover". On 17 July 2013, Olamide became the first Nigerian to sign an endorsement deal with Cîroc.


The Nigeria artiste has however taken the industry to another level in recent years. He's featured so many artists and vice-versa. He is one of the most consistent artistes The Nigeria music has ever got to date as there is hardly a year Olamide doesn't release a hit song ever since he rose to prominence with " Eni duro". Olamide has blessed us with so many hits songs over the years like First of all, Durosoke, Jale, Rayban Abacha, Voice of the street, Eleda mi, Omo to shan, Goons mi, Bobo, Lagos boys, Melo Melo, Pawon and many more. He has won several awards and he's one of the most respected artists in the music industry as a lot of artists have come into limelight through Olamide. He's helped a lot of artists and he is the type that doesn't brag about it.

Personal life

The Bariga born star grew up in a family of five (two boys one girl). He is the middle child. His elder sister whose name is Temmygold got married to Adenuga family few years ago. She is extremely beautiful.
