If You Normally Cook Moi-Moi With nylon, You need To Read This. by Timmyjossy(m): Wed 10, June, 2020 11:59am
Many people are used to tying Moi Moi with nylon and cooking it, since I understand the implications, I avoided it completely and I think I should share this piece of information with you people so you will equally understand the harm it causes when you tie moi-moi in a nylon and cook.

Many are quilty of this, it's just that it's God Almighty that saves, when I was small, my parents normally ask us not to throw away the empty Tin milk. we kept gathering it after we finish the milk inside and later, my mum would open it with a wine opener and it will look so smooth and she will use them to cook moi-moi.

Then one day, I went to visit a friend and saw how they prepared their moi-moi, tie all in a nylon and they all look so beautiful and attractive, then when I got home I asked my mum why must she always ask us the keep the empty Tin milk, why not prepare it and use nylon like my friend's mother is doing instead of empty Tin milk. Then she explained why it is very bad to use nylon to cook moi-moi or anything else.

Being a Health personnel, she said cooking Moi-moi in nylon is bad, nylons are toxic when heated because the heat will make the nylon leach chemicals which can cause so many harm to our body. She also said that the Nylon material is usually Bisphenol A (BPA) which causes cancer to human body.

After listening to her lecture, i now understand why it's necessary to be informed and to be aware of things, many people today still prepare moi-moi with nylon and I think we need to share this information for them to also understand and be informed. By so doing, we are contributing our quarter in making sure our world becomes a better place for us all.
