Most times, our mobile phones fall inside water accidentally or unknowingly. This could damage the phone especially when the phone is not water resistant. I believe most of the phones we use here in Nigeria are not water resistant.

Whenever phones fall inside water in Nigeria, the owners will immediately bring it out and put it under sun or any heat source. This is totally wrong because it causes more damage to the android phone.

The best method to remove water particles from your phone is to use airtight containers or medium. I know you might be wondering what an airtight container is, below are steps used to remove water from your phone using an airtight container.

If your phone falls inside water, don't put it under the sun rather here is what to do.

Step 1: Form a grain filled container, this can be formed by simply pouring grains like rice, maize or cassava flakes(Garri) into a container.

Step 2: Make sure you remove some of your phone's accessories such as battery, SIM cards and memory cards.

Step 3: Shake the phone to remove some water molecules mechanically.

Step 4: Lastly, dip the phone into the grain filled container and allow it to last for about 3 hours. This will totally absorb all the tiny water molecules inside the android phone.
