The former governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, is reportedly currently during a critical condition as he receives “serious medical attention” at a personal clinic in Lagos State, after being infected with the deadly Coronavirus.




According to Exclusive Press, Ajimobi was rushed to the hospital within the early hours of last week Tuesday after his health condition deteriorated within the middle of the night, causing panic within the family.


Ajimobi and his wife are in their Lagos residence for a few of weeks, with the previous governor only making trips to Ibadan, Oyo capital , to carry court together with his lieutenants and political associates.

It was gathered from a source on the brink of his friends in Lagos that the previous governor had woken up early a fateful day to urinate and upon his return from the toilet , fell on his bed and have become unconscious.

His wife, Florence Ajimobi, who was with him, was said to possess quickly called on the safety details within the house for help.

A security source told Exclusive Press that the safety details attached to the previous governor, on seeing his condition, rushed him from his room to the car on the bottom floor and ferried him to the hospital.

Exclusive Press scooped from hospital sources that the tests thus far administered on the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) showed a drag together with his lungs.

He was said to possess had “serious difficulty” in breathing, following which he was said to possess been attached to a ventilator at the hospital where Mallam Abba Kyari, the late Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, was also hospitalized.
