COVID-19 UPDATE: Nigeria’s Cases of COVID-19 rises to 11,516 as 350 new cases confirmed.

COVID-19 cases in Nigeria increased further on Thursday 4th June with 350 cases and 8 deaths reported in the country, even as authorities intensify efforts towards flatten the curve of the pandemic.

The new cases were confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via their twitter handle showing the statistics of the total number of confirmed cases, the total number of recovered cases and the total number of deaths

This takes the country’s total infections to 11,516, out of which 3,535 have been discharged and 323 lost their lives.

Data from the NCDC showed that the 350 cases were spread across 20 states with Lagos accounting for the highest number of infections.
