Today, many people want to be successful but they don't want to experience the hardship that will make them to succeed. Probably, they have forgotten that success is not easily achieved? Many goals, dreams, desires have been murdered because of lack of perseverance. The road to success is rough! You have to pass through potholes, bumps, hurdles before you can get to your desired destination.

In life, there is no way you can be a successful person if you are not willing to persevere. It is only those who are ready to tolerate and tackle the challenges life thrust at them that can crack and unlock the door of greatness in life. The journey to greatness is not exciting. It is tough, challenging and so demanding that you move on, even if it seemed you have reached the edge of the bridge.

Success is missed by most people because they fail to go on even though the process is torrid. Thomas Edison was an inventor, he made 9,999 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb. When a reporter asked, "How did it feel to fail 9,999 times?" Edison replied, "I didn’t fail 9,999 times. I have just found 9,999 ways that won't work. He succeeded inventing the light bulb at the last round, 10,000. Just imagine if he had given up after the 9,999th time? Getting tired is just one more way of not doing something. Don't give up and take it for what it is, a cold hard lesson.

Every goal, dream you set for yourself, either big or small, requires perseverance and tenacity to achieve the success lining under. Every great man you see out there, every achievements man made, there was a price paid before attaining it. You want to become somebody great in life: a doctor, lawyer, pilot or engineer? Name it, anything you call it! If you are not ready to persevere, something will make itself available to interfere. Perseverance is a character you need to succeed, you must possess it! The level of your commitment and perseverance determines how gigantic or small your success will be. Therefore, you have to be as tenacious as you can that no matter how often obstacles or failures depress and press you down, you have no alternatives other than to keep your hope alive and focus till you get the end result.
