COVID-19 CASES REACH 10,000 by Isa22(m): Mon 01, June, 2020 02:03pm
COVID-19 cases in Nigeria increased further on Friday 31st May with 307 cases and 287 deaths reported within the country, whilst authorities intensify efforts to flatten the curve of the pandemic.



The new cases were confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via their twitter handle showing the statistics of the entire number of confirmed cases, the entire number of recovered cases and therefore the total number of deaths



This takes the country’s total infections to 10,162, out of which 3,007 are discharged and 287 lost their lives.



Data from the NCDC showed that the 307 cases were spread across 15 states, with Lagos accounting for the highest number of infections.



BELOW IS THE BREAKDOWN OF THE NEWLY CONFIRMED 387 CASES

Lagos (188), FCT (44), Ogun (19), Kaduna (14), Oyo (12), Bayelsa (9), Gombe (5), Kano (3), Delta (3), Imo (2), Rivers (2), Niger (2), Bauchi (2), Plateau (1), Kwara (1).
