The General Ovesser of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, has just joined his voice to many Nigerians who are calling for justice in regards to the rape and killing of a UNIBEN Undergraduate, Omozuwa Vera Uwaila, inside a Church in Benin city, where she had gone to read.





Pastor Adeboye who condemned the act in strong terms, revealed that he's already working with relevant authorities to bring the perpetrators of the dastardly act to book.

He wrote in a Tweet:



"All can do at this time is to pray for the family of Omozuwa and do everything possible working with relevant authorities to bring the perpetrators to book. I and members of my Family condemn this act strongly and urge everyone to stay calm as we are already looking into the matter and cooperating with the police to establish the facts of the shocking incident. #justiceforuwa"



Many other Nigerians who reacted to the ugly incident via Adeboye's Twitter page, expressed their support and prayers for the family of the slain girl, as they pray God will reveal the face of those behind the attack.
