As part of Presidsnt Buhari’s agenda to reduce unemployment rate in the country, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo said that the Federal Government has agreed to pay N20,000 to unemployed youths to maintain public and social infrastructures in the country.

The youths will be engaged in the clearing of drainages, sweeping markets, road maintenance, traffic control, and cleaning of public infrastructures like health centres and schools and the work is mostly meant for unskilled youths.
Nigerian youths has taken to social media pages to express their thoughts and opinions about it, some labelled it as an insult to the nation's youths and few accepted it and said it's better than doing nothing.
