KIDNAPPED NIGERIAJOURNALIST REGAINS FREEDOM
The seized authority of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Chinyere Okoye, has recaptured opportunity, an authority has said.

Mrs Okoye, who is the associate chief, news, current undertakings, at NTA Channel 6, Aba, Abia State, was abducted on Wednesday in Aba after she shut from work.



Despite the fact that data about her discharge was as yet scrappy, it was found out that she recovered her opportunity on Friday morning.

It was not promptly clear if any payment was paid to make sure about her opportunity.

Mrs Okoye was purportedly discharged on Friday after agents of the State Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and other police strategic units raged the ruffians lair.

Mrs Okoye, after her discharge, was taken to the SARS office in Aba, where she was later joined by her relatives and companions.



As indicated by a source, the police group following up on data raged a compound in Mgboko, Obete in Obingwa nearby legislature of the state and cordoned off the zone. They later made sure about her discharge from her abductors.

The proprietor of the property where the NTA columnist was kept was purportedly captured while the abductors fled.

The Commissioner for Information, John Okiyi, affirmed the arrival of the columnist.

"The Governor guided security organizations to recoup her inside 48 hours and we are upbeat that she has been recuperated," he said.

"Yet, past that, there has been further order from the senator to clip down on the individuals who are engaged with this detestable exercises of hijacking."
