We all know the normal way of grating and squeezing your coconut to get the milk. But I want to just add a simple and better step in making the coconut oil after you must've extracted the milk from the coconut.

Most people tend to just put the coconut milk on fire immediate squeezing, that's a good one but, you won't get enough oil from it like you normally should.

So, instead of boiling it immediately, you leave it in a bowl, cover and allow to stay for 24 hours.

Now, when you check it out the next day you'll see the firmented substance floating. At this point, get a flat spoon to scoop the substance ontop, separating it from the water, put the scooped substance in a pot and use low heat, leave for sometime to collect as much oil as it can provide.

That's how you get your coconut oil in better quantity.

Note: you can use coconut oil for your skin, hair or cooking. It is very healthy.
