RECIPES.


INGREDIENTS:
Flour 500g.
Butter 250g.
Cold water 1 cup.
Nutmeg 1 teaspoon.
A pinch of salt.
Baking powder 1 teaspoon.

FOR THE FILLINGS:
Beef sausage or bulk beef 400g.
Black pepper 1 teaspoon.
Nutmeg 1 teaspoon.
Stock cube or Benny to taste.


PROCEDURE:

FOR THE DOUGH:
Sift all the dry ingredients into a bowl.
Add the butter and mix together until you get a fine crumb like misture.
Add the cold water and mould together to form a dough.
Wrap in a cling film and set aside to rest.
It can be refrigerated till when needed.

FOR THE FILLINGS:
Season the beef sausage with the black pepper,nutmeg, stock cube or Benny.

FINAL PROCEDURE:
Roll out the dough and arrange the filling on top.
Roll over and apply egg white to the edges to seal.
Cut into desired lengths and transfer to a baking tray.
Brush over with egg white.
Bake in a preheated oven for about thirty minutes or till dolden brown.
Allow to cool before removing from tray then your sausage rolls is ready.
Serve with chilled drink to enjoy.
