In a country where people take religion and religiosity seriously and would rather not marry than marry someone from another religion affiliations,still there are some notable politicians who are staunch muslims around us who did not only marry a Christian but also married a devoted and practising Christians.They are big men in the politics of Nigeria and they are influential in the political atmosphere of Nigeria and beyond.

Among the arrays of politicians that abounds in Nigeria, some are not so concerned about the religion or the faith of their spouse and do not get disturbed with the way their beautiful wives serves their God,To them, Religion should not come with bitterness and other people's religion should be well respected since we are all serving the same God,both the Christians and the Muslims.

These popular and notable Politicians Are Muslims but are married to devoted Christians and their marriage have been blissful and blessed with lovely children.

1.Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu And Senator Oluremi Tinubu :
These two amazing couple have been married for several years even though they are of two different religion affiliation. The husband, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,A former Senator and Governor of Lagos state is a devoted Muslim while his beautiful and stunning wife,Oluremi Tinubu,A serving Senator in the Red chamber is a practising Christian.In fact,She is a pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God.



They have been married for over 34 years now and there have been no rift between them that have been open to the public,this means they know how to manage their internal conflicts or marital problems



.Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has also opened many doors of opportunities for his wife as he has groomed her in politics that she can comfortably swim with other great politicians in the same political pool.She is currently a serving Senator representing her senatorial district in the Red chamber of the National Assembly while her husband is the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

2.Babatunde Raji Fashola And Emmanuella Abimbola Fashola :
The two lovebirds who got married over two decades ago are of different religion. The husband,former Governor of Lagos state and current Minister of Works is a Muslim while his beautiful wife,Dame Emmanuella Abimbola Fashola is a Christian.



Surprisingly, The couple got married in a Catholic church as his wife is a staunch Catholic.When interviewed on their diverse religion orientation,The wife of the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) said her husband have his own part in the house where he prays and she has her own alter with her crucifix where she communicates with God.She said she prays in the name of Jesus Christ while her husband prays in the name of Allah and their children understands that.



3.Abdulfatah Ahmed and Deaconess Omolewa Ahmed :
Former Governor Kwara state,Abdulfatal Ahmed is a devoted Muslim while his wife,Omolewa is a practising Christian.She is a deaconess in her church.



She met her handsome husband when she was serving her father's land at district savings and loans and they courted for like a year.She said to her mother,it was an abomination for her,a Baptist member to Marty a Muslim but she later accepted her decision after several years of marriage.Now they are doing well even with their diverse religion background.



They are happily married with lovely children.

4. Abiola Isiaka Ajimobi and Florence Ajimobi :
Former Governor of Oyo state and present deputy chairman(South) of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Abiola Isiaka Ajimobi is a devoted Muslim while his beautiful wife,Florence is a practising Christian.





The beautiful wife of the former Senator is known to be a quiet woman who cherishes family value and love.She is said to be truly committed to the things of God.She is a sociable woman too as she is a member of the Bodija Lions club where she rose to be president in 1996.



They have been happily married for over three decades and they are blessed with lovely children.

My Point :
We should endeavor to live in peace irrespective of our religion affiliations.We should have this believe that we are serving the same God.Let us imbibe the spirit of oneness. We should throw the mindset of religion extremism into thrash.Let us emulate the our leaders who married 'angels' whose religions are different from theirs.
