Lionel Messi brought back that youthful side of his face, when he showed up for training earlier on monday.



The multiple Ballon d'or winner was almost unrecognizable as he trained with his teammates on Barcelona's training ground.



The Laliga season is set to resume next month, after it was suspended for over two months due to the covid-19 pandemic which forced major leagues to suspend matches.

The Argentine international was looking energized as he performed various training drills.





Barcelona were toping the league with 58 points, from 27 matches played. They are followed closely at second place by arch rivals real Madrid who are on 56 points, from 27 matches played also.



Actions resume in the Spanish Laliga on June 11, as organizers are keen to see that the rest of the matches are played behind closed doors to avoid the spread of the deadly virus.

Football fans are passionate about football actions gradually resuming after a brief hiatus. Even though fans will not be allowed at the stadium, the matches will be broadcasted live to millions worldwide. This will go a long way in easing the lockdown tensions and boredom.
