"The passion of Christ" is inarguably the best movie on the documentary of the life and death of Jesus. It was a masterpiece. The role of Jesus was played by James Caviezel. He took a lot of risk in acting his role, it wasn't an easy task. He had to endure the strokes during the scene in which they whipped him (yes, they were real lashes). The actor said that during his testimony at 'the rock church' San Diego that when he was given the first lash, his skin tore off. In his own words, "The whip went over and I had a 14 inch gash on my back, I went right down like a football game when you get the wind knocked out of you. I saw God".
