Waist beads have been a viral object used as fashion by both singles and married women across the globe, mostly Africans. It's regards to bring out more of their sexual beauty.



I do ponder and regularly ask myself why most ladies love wearing this garment tied around their waists. This is so frustrating and I decided to research on it and the users.

During my findings, I got to know that most of the young girls have no reasons for doing so, what they know is that people wear it and I also wear it as fashion.

According to Wikipedia, the wearing of beads around the waist is a common culture among the west African countries such as Nigeria, Senegal etc.

The wearing of beads in Nigeria indicate the gender different, it is mostly found in the rural or traditional areas. Some African homes believe that wearing of a waist beads is a means of spiritual cleansing and protection against evil spirits.

Presently, herbalist used waist beads as a charm for most young and married women to lure or entice a man. Whenever they have sexual intercourse with the waist beads being used, they belief the man will forever love the woman or keep spending all his earnings on her. This is the dangerous part of it all.



Lastly, we were made to believe historically that goddess are found wearing this bead as a sign of spiritual authorities in the local areas and some of these goddess are connected with the river spirit such as mermaid and spirits in the forest.
