Nigerian Wrestler Gets Date For the WWE United States Championship After Recovery from Injury

Nigerian Wrestler on World Wrestling Entertainment, Apollo Crews has returned back to Monday night RAW after completing full recovery back from a knee injury that has kept him out of actions for some weeks now.

Kevin Owens also returned to WWE Monday Night Raw for the first time since he was injured at the WrestleMania tapings. Owens welcomed Zelina Vega, Angel Garza, Austin Theory and Andrade as his interview guests to find out what is going on as there has been a tease of someone splitting off from the group.


Apollo Crews made his unexpected return to the red brand courtesy of the Kevin Owens show that saw Zelina Vega took her group of men like Angel Garza, Austin Theory and the United States Champion Andrade to the ring to talk.


Finally, Apollo Crews gets a chance at redemption when he challenges Andrade for the WWE United States Championship on Raw.

The 32-year-old went straight to attack Andrade, the person he was in the ring with 21 days ago when he suffered an unfortunate knee injury that ruled him out for the last Pay-Per-View known as Money in the Bank.


Apollo was successful when he teamed with Kevin Owens, who also made his return on May 18 defeating Andrade and Angel Garza.

For the second time in three weeks, Apollo Crews conquered Andrade and he got himself a United States Championship match scheduled for the next episode of RAW.


In a backstage segment with Charly Caruso, Apollo announced that he would be challenging Andrade next week for the United States Championship and Zelina Vega would approach him and warned him that if he didn't back away from this match, he would suffer consequences.

And with that challenge, the board of directors at the WWE have agreed that Apollo Crews will officially face Andrade for the United States Championship slated for next Monday as Nigerians will be hoping that the Benue State athletic superstar will win his first WWE title since joining the company some years ago.
