Recall Francis Korede, the nine-year-old who was rescued by officers attached to Ogun State Police Command after he was found and chained and starved by his cleric father. His father had accused him of being ‘possessed by the spirit of stealing’.

He was however subsequently adopted by the wife of the state governor, Mrs Olufunso Amosun. Who promised to take care of the little boy till his university education.

Korede’s father, Francis Taiwo, a Celestial Church of Christ pastor who starved and kept the boy in chains for months, was arrested.

The boy is no longer recognisable as he looks well taken care of after his rescue and adoption. Many women are looking for children, even of it is one, and the one you have, you are mistreating him, a little boy at that.

God heard the cry of the little boy, he saw how the boy was suffering, and elevated him to greater height. A height many have dreamt of, and many are still dreaming, some are even washing just to spend 1 minute the first lady, but God bless Francis making the first lady to adopt him. No matter what your child does, correct him, and pray that God should change him for the best, not the other way round. God can never give us a problem that is bigger for us.
