Aloe Vera described as “wonder plantâ€, is a plant that has been used to treat health conditions for thousands of years. The plant is one of the oldest plants that provide amazing benefits for skin, health, weight loss and more.
Aloe Vera contains proteolytic enzymes that repair dead skin cells on the scalp. When used as a conditioner, it makes your hair all smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, reduces dandruff and conditions your hair. Keratin, which is the main protein of hair, consists of amino acids, nitrogen, carbon, oxygen, Sulphur and small amounts of hydrogen. Aloe Vera has a chemical makeup similar to keratin and it revamps the hair with its own nutrients, giving it more elasticity and preventing breakage. So, how do you use Aloe Vera for hair growth? 1. By making Aloe Vera oil and applying it on your scalp. Ingredients: 1.Aloe Vera 2.Organic coconut oil 3.Extra olive virgin oil Preparation: 1.Was the Aloe Vera plant 2.Cut off the sharp edges 3.Cut out the white end of the Aloe Vera plant 4.Cut the plant into tiny pieces 5.Turn on your gas cooker to medium heat 6.Take a measuring cup to measure the amount of olive oil needed or eyeball the measurement 7.Scoop a teaspoon of coconut oil and mix it with the olive oil 8.You’re your sliced Aloe Vera plant into the oil and let it fry for about 10 minutes on medium heat 9.Let it simmer and cool then transfer to a container. Transfer only the oil to the container and throw away the plant. Part your hair into different sections and apply the oil directly to your scalp, and massage gently. Do this twice a week consistently till you start seeing results. 2. Make a leave-in conditioner Preparation: 1.Split the Aloe Vera plant into two 2.Gently scoop the gel with a spoon or knife till you’ve gotten all the juice out from the plant 3.Take another bowl and shifter and drain the Aloe Vera juice 4.Pour the Aloe Vera juice in a spray bottle. Part your hair into different sections and spray the juice on your scalp and every part of your hair, then massage gently for about a minute. Air dry your hair and style as desired Do not rinse out the Aloe Vera juice from your hair Additional tips: 1.Eat healthy foods and take lots of fruits 2.Drink lots of water every day to keep your hair and skin hydrated 3.Little to no manipulation of your hair promotes hair growth. 4.Wear protective styling 5.Go for low manipulation hairstyles 6.Moisturize your hair often.
