couple in Jericho is mourning their two children who died in a mudslide the heart broken mother of the two who are the only children was interviewed by A tv station and she was so heartbroken on how the whole incident happened. The woman Lydia Osiemo was in her house in her bedroom and the children were sleeping on onother room adjacent to hers .

Everything was okay untill she heard some defeaning noise from their room on reaching where the children were sleeping she was shocked since she could not see her children she only saw soul in the floor. During the interview this were her words"I was in the bedroom while the two children were sleeping in the sitting room area. When I heard the deafening sound, I ran to the sitting room and I was met with a lot of darkness .There was a lot of soil. I tried looking where the kids were sleeping and I did not find them there. All I could only see soil," Her children were no where to be seen they had been burried under the soil .Water was filling the house ,she run out and she entered a ditch as he was looking for help from his brother . She still run and informed the brother who alerted the people plus the husband. The husband Wycliffe Osiemo was also heartbroken since he lost all his children and his land which he had been given and now is destroyed.
