1. As you prepare to Lead there are 3 fundamental aspects of leading that you must understand: a. Envisioning b. Engagement c. Execution. 2. The First is, Envisioning: you can’t lead yourself, your organization or nation into a future that you can’t see or define. Leading always start from the future. 3. There are 4 kinds of leaders in our nation today: There are those who: a. No vision, b. Lost their vision, c. Vision with no corresponding action, d. Have vision with corresponding action. 4. Your leadership credibility and distinction rises with greater commitment to creating visions (goals) and implementing them. 5. Your leadership influence increases as you communicate clearly and inspire others to participate in pursuing a vision that transforms lives. 6. To lead in Nigeria, you must conceptualize a great vision of a noble future such that incorporates the collective aspirations, dreams, goals, desires, and values of all Nigerians. 7. To become an effective leader, you must be able to articulate and communicate the vision of a future you want see and really care about.
